Terms of service
Last updated 2026-08-08
These are the terms you buy under. They say what we sell, when it starts, what we are responsible for, and what we ask of you. They are written to be read rather than to be got past.
Who we are
SefereSIM sells prepaid travel eSIM data plans. A plan is mobile data, delivered as an eSIM profile you install on your own phone and use on local networks at your destination. It is data only: no phone number, no calls, no texts.
The company behind SefereSIM, and the address to write to, are here. [OPERATOR: legal entity name, registered address and company registration number]
In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person buying a plan.
What you are buying
- One purchase, one tripEvery plan is a one-time purchase. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel later.
- The price you seeThe price is on screen in US dollars before you pay, and that is the amount we charge. If your card is in another currency, your bank sets the rate and may add a fee of its own.
- What a plan includesThe data volume and the number of days shown on the plan, on the networks our supplier reaches in that country.
Plans come and go as our supplier changes them, so a plan you saw yesterday may not be on sale today. The plan and price you confirm at checkout are the ones we are bound by.
When the service starts
Your plan starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination. It does not start when you pay, and it does not start when you install it, so buying a few days early costs you nothing.
Once it has started, the validity runs continuously to the end of the days shown. Those are calendar days, not days on which you happen to use data.
Your phone, and installing
An eSIM installs on one phone, once. Deleting the profile from that phone uses it up: it cannot be installed again, on that phone or on any other, and any data left on it is lost. That is how eSIM works everywhere, and it is not something we can reverse.
We ask which phone you have before you pay, and if that phone cannot take an eSIM we say so and sell you nothing. The install itself happens inside your phone settings, where we cannot see it, so we can tell you what to tap and no more.
Using the service
Use the data lawfully, on the phone you installed it on, the way a traveller uses a mobile plan.
- Follow the law of the country you are in, and the local operator terms that apply on their network.
- Do not resell the plan, run it as a commercial connectivity service, or leave it as a permanent line for equipment.
- Do not use it for anything a network operator would treat as abuse, such as bulk unsolicited messaging or attacks on other systems.
Local operators can suspend or block a line themselves, and when they do we cannot bring it back. If an account is used for any of the above we can stop serving it, and we will tell you why.
Refunds
We do not refund a plan once it has been used. The one exception is an eSIM that never activated or does not work. The refund policy is a page of its own, and it is part of these terms.
Your account
Buying creates an account. It is where your order history lives, and it is the login the iOS app uses. Keep the email address on it reachable: that is where the eSIM is sent and how we reach you when something needs a person.
You can delete the account from the iOS app, or by writing to support@seferesim.com. Order records outlive the account, because we are required to keep them. The privacy page says exactly what stays, and for how long.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for delivering what you paid for: a working eSIM profile for the country, the data and the days shown on the plan. When we cannot deliver that, the refund policy says what happens.
We are not the network. Coverage, speed and outages belong to the local operators our supplier buys from, and we do not control them.
If something does go wrong on our side, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in question. We do not cover indirect losses, such as a missed booking or a cancellation fee.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We can change these terms for future purchases. The version in force on the day you bought a plan is the version that governs it, so a change later does not rewrite an order you already placed.
Law, and where disputes go
The law these terms are read under, and the courts that would hear a dispute, are set here. [OPERATOR: governing law and the competent courts]
Write to us before you escalate anything. Most of what reaches a dispute would have been quicker to fix by email.
